Steve – 3-Year-Old Blue Greyhound

Steve is a striking blue greyhound with the most beautiful ears and an affectionate, gentle nature. He is a very sweet boy who forms strong bonds with his people and loves being part of the family.

Steve would be best suited to a home with a secure yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors. While he settles beautifully indoors, we feel he would be much happier in a house with access to a garden rather than apartment living.

He absolutely gets on well with other greyhounds and enjoys meeting dogs while out and about. Steve will often try to initiate play with other dogs. He has never shown aggression towards other dogs during play. He has successfully spent time off lead with a friend's corgi and played very well.

When it comes to smaller dogs, Steve is generally curious and tolerant. If a small dog barks at him, he will usually stop and watch rather than react. 

At home, Steve is a calm and settled companion. Camera monitoring has shown that he is quiet, relaxed and comfortable when left alone for reasonable periods.

Steve is in excellent health with no known injuries or health issues. He is desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested, up to date with parasite prevention, and receives a daily Antinol Plus supplement as recommended by his original adoption agency, GAP.

This beautiful boy has been deeply loved, and finding him the right home has been an incredibly difficult decision. We believe Steve will thrive with adopters who can provide a secure yard, plenty of companionship, and an understanding of his enthusiastic personality. In return, they'll gain a loyal, affectionate and entertaining companion who is ready to become a cherished member of the family.
