Meet Nila, our sweet and affectionate two-year-old girl, and sister to Memphis (now Mannan). Nila has been thriving in foster care alongside her big brother and mentor, Marcus, and the pair get along beautifully. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, Nila would also be perfectly happy as the only greyhound in the home—she loves being the centre of attention and soaking up affection from her foster carers (and even the neighbours!).

Nila is a true snuggle bug and a big baby at heart. She adores cuddles and being close to her people. Loud noises can startle her, so a calm and gentle home would suit her best.

She has played wonderfully with Labradors, including a Lab puppy, and has mixed well with many greyhounds. Nila does like having her own toys and prefers not to share them too much. She’s a typical toy collector rather than a chewer and is very settled when left alone, showing no signs of anxiety. That said, she gets extremely happy to see her people and may show her excitement with a little enthusiasm — it’s all part of her gorgeous charm.

Nila is petite and still learning how to hop into the car, but once she’s helped in, she travels beautifully and gets out with confidence. She enjoys car rides and is always ready for the next adventure.
